Who is "Small on Scale"
We are Chapter #C285 of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts (NAME*), an organization comprising of clubs in the United States and Canada.
Lehigh Valley Small on Scale began in 1978, when a few miniaturists who where employees and volunteers of Lehigh Valley Child Care Agency. They decided to raise funds for the agency by creating a dollhouse exhibit while increasing the interest and understanding of the construction and collection of miniatures as historical and creative art forms.
Our members are vibrant people who share one interest: the love of miniatures. Some of us are skilled craftspeople; others are collectors. We all have something to share and something to learn.
The proceeds of our annual show and sale support local charities and fund educational club activities.
When do we meet: The first Tuesday of every month, except June and December. In June we have our annual picnic and in December we have our Holiday party.
What Time: 7:00 pm start of the meeting and project work after meeting
